(Behan, 1996; Bel et al, 1998; Buskila, 1999, Dunstan et al, 1995; Heuser, 1993; Tirelli, 1998) (including Chronic Fatigue Immune Dysfunction Syndrome (CFIDS)), chronic pain (including migraines and fibromyalgia), intermittent dizziness, weakness (especially after prolonged standing) and other significant and sometimes disabling symptoms. A complete history should list all the problems mentioned above and any additional ones that the patient presents. In the case of Gulf War veterans, special consideration should be given to periods of war and the experiences that include: known or suspected chemical exposures, the number of reports of disease risk areas, the number of times the veteran was ordered to wear the protection against chemical agents and the number of unexplained sightings of dead animals or deceased humans.
